Policies & Procedures

By placing an order with Long Island Yard Greetings, you agree to all policies stated below:

Delivery/Set up/Pick up

  • ​You can expect ​delivery and set up of your Long Island Yard Greetings anytime between 7pm-midnight the evening before your event/celebration.  Long Island Yard Greetings will pickup the evening of your event after 6:00pm.  If weather is an issue Long Island Yard Greetings may set up early morning the day of your event.

Payment

  • You will receive a Square invoice by email.  Payments are due upon receipt to confirm your booking.  We also accept Venmo at @Longislandyardgreetings, personal checks and cash.  

  • Payment is required 2 days prior to delivery and installation of the yard greeting. We reserve the right to cancel a greeting if payment is not made in time.  So make sure you get your payment in early as we book up fast!

 

Hazardous Conditions

  • We may be unable to deliver a greeting during severe and hazardous weather conditions (including snow storms and thunder storms).  We will attempt to reschedule delivery, if we are unable to set up your greeting because of severe weather, you will receive a full refund.

 

Rental & Refund Policy

  • At this time we are unable to guarantee colors, ages or specific graphic requests. As always we will do our best to accommodate your request when designing your one of a kind greeting!

  • For the safety of everyone, especially children, please DO NOT allow anyone to play on or around the sign display. Our items WILL NOT safely support the weight of a child or adult leaning, sitting or playing on it.

  • Please DO NOT attach balloons to any part of the display. Balloons get hot in the sun. If a hot balloon blows against our signs, our sign may become damaged.  There will be an additional fee charged for any damage to our signs. 

  • Please keep ALL PETS away from the yard greeting.  You are responsible for any damage your pets does to our signs. There will be an additional fee charged for any damage to our signs. 

  • If you have a LAWN CREW coming, please arrange for them to come BEFORE we set up or AFTER we take down the lawn greeting. You are responsible for any damage landscapers do to our signs.  There will be an additional fee charged for any damage to our signs. 

  • Please do not remove our signs from your lawn for any reason. If they need to be taken down early, let us know and we will take care of it. There will be a $25 service charge if our signs have been moved from the location where they were originally installed.

  • Long Island Yard Greetings LLC and all representatives are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the setup or removal of any rental.

  • All signs are property of Long Island Yard Greetings LLC, you are responsible for any damage.  There will be an additional fee charged for any damage to our signs. Our signs are rented to you, and are NOT for sale.  All signs will be picked up once the rental is complete.

  • Your yard greeting will be picked up approximately 24 hours after signs are delivered and set up, unless additional days have been purchased.

  • If you must cancel your yard greeting, please do so at least 48 hours before your scheduled delivery for a full refund.
